Solid Concrete Services – Terms of Service
Welcome to Solid Concrete Services. By requesting, scheduling, or approving any service provided by Solid Concrete Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “Customer,” or “You”) agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Work
All services will be performed as described in the submitted estimate or contract.
Any work not listed in the estimate is considered additional work and will require a separate approval or change order.
2. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing may vary if material costs increase or if job conditions differ from what was originally inspected.

Any necessary adjustments will be communicated before work begins.
3. Deposits & Payments
-
A non-refundable deposit is required to schedule your project.

Remaining balance is due upon completion of work on the same day, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Accepted forms of payment: cash, check, invoice, or approved digital payment options.
Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in:

Late fees
-
Construction liens
-
Suspension of future services
-
Collection actions
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

By using our services, you agree to all cancellation and deposit policies.
5. Access to Job Site
The customer agrees to provide:

Clear access to the job site
-
Removal of vehicles or obstacles
-
Access to electrical outlets or water if needed
-
Safe working conditions
If the job site is not ready or accessible on the scheduled date, additional charges or delays may apply.
6. Concrete Curing, Cracking & Natural Variations
The customer understands that:
-
Concrete may crack, settle, discolor, or develop minor surface imperfections over time.

Weather, soil conditions, and curing variables are outside of contractor control.
-
Concrete curing issues are not considered defects unless directly caused by improper workmanship.
We guarantee workmanship, not natural concrete behavior.
7. Warranties
Solid Concrete Services offers a workmanship warranty on qualifying projects.
Warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by weather, salt, chemicals, or de-icing agents
-
Damage from heavy vehicles or equipment
-
Cracks caused by soil movement, drainage, or ground settling
-
Lack of proper maintenance
-
Alterations made by other contractors

8. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:

Follow all aftercare instructions
-
Avoid driving on new concrete for the recommended cure time
-
Avoid de-icing salts during winter seasons
-
Notify Solid Concrete Services of any issues within 48–72 hours
Failure to follow care instructions may void warranty protections.
9. Change Orders
Any work added, revised, or altered after the project begins requires a signed change order.
Additional charges will apply for added labor, materials, or extended time.
10. Weather & Delays
Work schedules may be impacted by:

Rain, snow, extreme heat, or freezing conditions

Material shortages
-
Equipment breakdowns
-
Unforeseen job-site conditions
We are not responsible for delays outside of our control but will communicate promptly.
11. Liability Limitations
Solid Concrete Services is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage or structural issues
-
Damage to underground utilities not disclosed by the customer
-
Landscaping disturbance required to complete the job
-
Delays caused by weather or site readiness
-
Minor cracking, spalling, or cosmetic imperfections due to natural curing conditions
Our maximum liability will never exceed the amount paid for the service.
12. Use of Photos & Media
We may take photos or videos of projects before, during, and after completion for:

Portfolio use
-
Marketing
-
Social media
-
Website display
If you prefer your project not be photographed, please notify us before work begins.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois (or the state where the project is performed).
14. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring Solid Concrete Services, paying a deposit, or approving an estimate, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
