Solid Concrete Services – Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Solid Concrete Services, we take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, clear communication, and reliable service. Because concrete work involves custom labor, materials, and scheduling, our refund policy is designed to be fair to our clients while protecting the time and resources invested in each project.
1. Deposits (Non-Refundable)
To secure your project date, a deposit is required at the time of scheduling.
All deposits are non-refundable, as they cover:
-
Time reserved for your project
-
Pre-construction planning
-
Material allocation
-
Crew scheduling
If you need to reschedule, your deposit can be applied to a new date (see Section 3).
2. Refunds on Completed Work
Because concrete services are custom and involve permanent labor and materials, completed work is not eligible for refunds.
However, we stand behind our quality. If you experience an issue related to workmanship, we will:
-
Inspect the affected area
-
Provide repair or correction options
-
Honor any applicable warranty commitments
Customer satisfaction is our priority.
3. Project Cancellations
You may cancel your project at any time. Refund eligibility depends on the project stage:
Before Materials Are Purchased
No refund of the deposit, but no additional fees.
After Materials Are Purchased / Delivered
Customer is responsible for the cost of all materials already purchased, even if the project is canceled.
Within 48 Hours of Scheduled Start Date
Due to crew scheduling and preparation time, a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the project total may apply.
4. Rescheduling Policy
We allow one free reschedule if requested at least 7 days before the project start date.
Rescheduling within 7 days may require an additional deposit depending on crew availability.
5. Changes to Scope of Work
If the customer requests changes after the project has started:
-
Additional charges will apply for added labor or materials
-
A revised estimate or change order must be approved before work continues
6. Weather-Related Delays
Illinois weather can impact concrete installation. If your project is delayed due to weather:
-
No cancellation fees will apply
-
Deposits will carry over to the rescheduled date
-
We will notify you immediately and coordinate a new start date
